Self led excursions – Suggestion of the day
Take a train to the ocean city of Plymouth approximately 1 hr from Torquay. Please do ask us if you need any assistance booking or further information.
In the city you can;
- Take a walk along the Hoe – Wonderful views of Plymouth Sound and Smeaton’s Tower.
- Visit the cobblestone streets and quaint teashops and boutiques of the Barbican.
- Book in to Plymouth Gin Distillery for a Gin tasting tour where you will learn why the Navy strength Gin is so strong! or just pop up to the bar for a cocktail or two.
- Visit the UK’s largest Aquarium.
- The Mayflower and Box museums.
- Book a boat trip around plymouth sound or over to Cornwall.
