In our carefully selected homestays, you really will be staying in a home away from home.

We offer half-board homestay accommodation throughout the course, with welcoming hosts, where students are treated as part of the family. Whatever your age, nationality or requirements, we have no hesitation in recommending our friendly homestays!

What to expect from a homestay provider:
  • You will be treated as a full member of the household
  • Breakfast + evening meals will be provided. Your hosts will eat dinner with you in the evenings.
  • You will have your own room with a bed, storage for clothing, a desk or study area and private or ensuite bathroom (premium homestay)
  • Your hosts will always communicate with you in English
  • There will never be more than 4 students or guests staying in the homestay at any time
  • You will be the only student of your 1st language (unless you request to stay with a friend)

Useful information

All our students are met by their homestay host upon arrival in Torquay at the bus station or train station, so it’s very important that we receive arrival times well in advance.

It is very important that you provide full details of dietary needs or any other particular requirements (pet allergies, mobility issues, whether you smoke or any other relevant information).
