These courses teach not only linguistic knowledge, but also skills such as text analysis and its specific vocabulary, writing style, examination technique and specific vocabulary for use in the analysis of literary texts.

The language courses are individualized for the different Bundesländer and are tailored to the content of their Abitur exam. Each course also takes into account whether the student must take a written exam, an oral exam, or both.

A mock examination under Abitur conditions and a mock oral exam can be set accordingly as part of the programme.

The aim is to improve the above-mentioned skills to such an extent that the student performs to the very best of their abilities in their Abitur English reading and writing papers or in their English oral exam and achieve their best possible mark.
