Enjoy a cruise across the bay on the Brixham Lady, Torbay’s local ferryboat service (or travel by bus during the winter months). If you are lucky, you might see seals or even dolphins on your way into the historic fishing port of Brixham.
After a short tour of the town, we will walk up the cliff to the dramatic headland and national park, Berry Head. Home to an abundance of wildlife, Berry Head is more than 400 million years old and offers spectacular views across the bay. Take a break at the old guardhouse which offers cream teas and light snacks. After looking around the Napoleonic forts, walk back down to the harbour where you will have some time to enjoy the gift shops or even treat yourself to some of England’s best fish and chips.
