A day trip to the largest city in Devon, including a guided tour of the Barbican, a busy hub of specialist shops, restaurants, cafes and attractions, all set against the backdrop of Plymouth’s picturesque harbour. Explore the Hoe where Sir Francis Drake finished a legendary game of bowls before sailing out to do battle with an invading armada. Enjoy incredible views of Plymouth and its beautiful natural harbour from Smeaton’s Tower and visit Sutton Harbour, home to the world-famous Plymouth Gin Distillery.
We will stay for the switching on of the Christmas lights festivities on the Barbican.
