Just a short walk from the school you will come to Babbacombe downs, here you will find the highest cliff top promenade in England, and on a clear day you can see right across to Portland Bill in Dorset. It’s the perfect place to relax and gaze out to sea, and there are plenty of eateries around for when you get a little peckish, including award winning fish and chips.
We will take the Babbacombe Cliff Railway – operating since 1926 – this is a great way to get down the cliff to Oddicombe Beach below. Further along the coast you’ll find Babbacombe Beach, where you can often spot dolphins and seals playing offshore.
